Drop one in — a novel, a textbook, your course notes — and StoryReel animates, narrates and scores it. Part 1 plays first; the rest is made while you watch.

How it works

Press play beforeit’s finished.

You don’t wait for the whole book. StoryReel makes the opening first, hands it to you, and keeps working ahead of wherever you are.

  1. One

    The book

Drop in an EPUB, a PDF with selectable text, or plain .txt and .md notes. StoryReel reads the chapters, the figures and the metadata into your private library.

  2. Two

    Part one

The first twenty-five pages or so become Part 1 — written for the screen, cast, painted and voiced. It’s made first, so it’s ready first.

  3. Three

    The rest

Press play. While you watch, the next parts are made ahead of you — two parts in front, like a video buffering.

A page of the book becomes Part 1 of a film; Part 2 is made while Part 1 plays, and the parts after it follow.

Three kinds of film

The book decidesthe film.

A thriller shouldn’t play like a lecture, and a chemistry chapter shouldn’t play like a thriller — unless it helps. StoryReel reads what you give it and chooses the form.

Novels & stories becomes drama

Fiction becomes drama.

Characters get faces and voices. Locations get weather and light. The camera knows when to hold on a face and when to pull away. Every genre gets its own look, score and camera language.

Self-help & ideas becomes explainer

Ideas become explainers.

A relatable “you” on screen, the big idea acted out as a small story, and the numbers drawn when the numbers matter — so the point is still with you next week.

  • A “you” character
  • Metaphors acted out
  • Key-point cards
  • Charts

Textbooks & courses becomes lesson

Textbooks become lessons.

A teacher and a student work through the chapter at a teaching board — steps, formulas, timelines, animated charts, diagrams and the book’s own figures — then a recap and a quick quiz to check it landed.

  • Teacher & student
  • Teaching board
  • Quiz checkpoints
